When you are planning your wedding you spend numerous hours searching for the right wedding invitation. In my case, I chose to go with a design that was customizable through an online company named Minted. I gave them the CMYK Colors, thorough details, and they did the rest! Before my invite was printed, they sent me numerous proofs to approve. I highly recommend Minted, and you can read more about my experience and see all the details of our wedding invitation HERE.
After sending out the invites we had one lucky invitation left! This invite was of course going to be a keepsake of our special day. Okay, now what to do with it? Sure you can scrapbook it, file it away with other important documents, or you can have it framed!
The lovely Samantha Atlas at The Frame Maker in Mission Hills, CA., gifted us with this unique shadow box design adorned with a gilded wood frame designed by Designer Greg Strange. The gorgeous outcome was a keepsake that we can look at everyday! Why have such a beautiful memory filed away when you can have that special day on display for all to see? If you have recently wed or have been married for years, give The Frame Maker a call to see what creative design they can create for your wedding invitation!
When you are on the hunt for fabulous Stationary for your wedding or the upcoming Holidays, you have to hand it to the Stationary experts at Minted! We ordered our Wedding Invite Booklet from Minted, and I even got to design and customize the colors and font! They were super patient with the free proofs they emailed to me, even down to the specific CMYK colors I chose for the floral details…down to the last petal.
Their designs are fresh and modern, and they offer a variety of themes from vintage to super contemporary. You can upload your own photos, or you can order pretty stationary that is photo free! From unique shapes, sizes and arrangement, you will be pleased with the quality of the final product.

Dia de los Muertos is the Day of the Dead which falls on the day after Halloween, and is a Mexican celebration of family and friends that have passed. As a San Diego native this holiday has been celebrated here for decades, and a Day of the Dead wedding in So Cal would not be far off for the unconventional bride-to-be! I am in love with Green Wedding Shoes Blog for wedding inspiration, and this featured wedding offers vibrant and beautiful colors and a surprising twist on a Fall Wedding.
I found this Dia de los Muertos Wedding Invitation on Minted, which is where I got our wedding invitations too! I will have to post more on Minted later, but they do have some fab designs! This particular design is perfect for a Day of the Dead Wedding, and in fact matches this featured wedding’s color scheme.
The flowers featured in this Dia de los Muertos Wedding are rich in abundance with marigolds, mums, dahlias, succulents and a few peonies in her bouquet. These arrangements are pretty affordable for the budget conscious bride, and I would definitely play it up with a mixture of high and low vases on the tablescape. The gold accents accentuate the rich colors, and of course you cannot forget the skulls! We can help you create your Dia de los Muertos Wedding come to life on any budget!
