Maternity Photo Shoot : La Jolla, California

Not only have I been dreaming about this day forever, I am so blown away with the dreamy images Taplin Photo captured of my husband, baby bump, and I on the beaches of La Jolla, CA. A little mermaid is on her way, and my love for mermaids and the ocean inspired this Maternity Photo Shoot. We are so blessed to live in such a magical place, and I cannot wait to share my love for the beach and marine life with our daughter!

These memorable images of a special time in our lives will be cherished for years to come, and I highly recommend Taplin Photo to capture your memories as well! Not only did Emily Taplin graduate from the same school as my talented sister Molly Dillon Photography, she is so much fun to do a photo shoot with! Emily Taplin puts you at ease, and she will capture all the laughs and smiles along the way.

  1. What size of dress did you wear in this photo shoot?
It’s beautiful and I would like to have my bridesmaid wear it for my wedding. She will be 7months pregnant at the time.

    1. Hi Angela!

This was a size 12 to allow room for my bump, and I was 8 months pregnant at the time! I am 5’7″ and pre baby bump I wore a dress size 4/6. It is an Adrianna Pappell dress from Nordstrom.
